One student says the award is well-deserved

(ST. LEON, Ind.) – East Central Middle School’s FFA Advisor has been nominated for a statewide award, again!
McCord Snider is a finalist for the Golden Owl Award for the fourth consecutive year.
He is one of eight FFA advisors in Indiana that is in the running to be named the state’s top agricultural teacher.
Nominations were collected from students, parents, fellow teachers and community members.
Snider was presented with an individual plaque and $500 to support future educational efforts.
He will find out if he is named Indiana’s Ag Educator of the Year later this spring.
East Central senior Isabelle Luerck discussed what Snider means to the program:
