(NEW HAVEN, CT.) – East Central graduate Hope Fox has been named a finalist for the Northeast 10 Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award.
Fox is a standout basketball player for Southern Connecticut State University where she started all 31 games and had 307 points.
She finished second in the conference in free-throw percentage and second in the conference in steals.
Fox has also excelled in the classroom as she has a 3.89 GPA and will graduate with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science.
The Northeast 10 Conference will name the award recipient at a ceremony in June in Vermont.
Hope also received several conference awards this past season and was named the 2026 United States Marine Corps Most Outstanding Player after her impressive performance in the Northeast 10 women’s basketball championship game.
