FCN Bank celebrates 125 years of service to the region

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – FCN Bank celebrated a milestone anniversary on Friday. 

A community cookout was held to celebrate 125 years of service to the community. It included free food, music and activities at their Brookville branch. 

During the celebration, FCN President Tom Horninger pointed to the words that were once spoken by Randy Listerman, who had served as a longtime Board of Directors member for the bank. 

“Randy had said FCN Bank serves as a servant and friend to the farmers, small town business owners, homeowners and the individual customer- from the very young to the very senior,” Horninger said. “It is an American Story of service, dedication, and giving back to the community and country.”

FCN opened its doors in 1901 with $25,000 capital that was raised from the selling of 250 shares at $100 each. 

They began expansion in 1993 and now have six branches that are in Brookville, Batesville, Connersville, Harrison, Sunman and Lawrenceburg. 

FCN Bank employs approximately 140 people and is continuing to grow.
