Teen killed, 2 arrested in Shelbyville shooting

(SHELBYVILLE, Ind.) – A teenage girl was killed and two people were arrested after a shooting in Shelbyville on Monday. 

Investigators say the shooting happened at a home on West Washington Street. 

17-year-old Adalina Perez was identified as the victim by the Shelby County Coroners Office. 

Authorities say 18-year-old Jayden McQueary was arrested and charged with reckless homicide. 

A juvenile was also taken into custody in connection to the incident.
