(DILLSBORO, Ind.) -- Firefighters are battling a trailer fire at Dillsboro Mobile Home Park on Thursday night.
Crews were dispatched around 6:15 p.m. and said they arrived to find 75 percent of the home on fire.
Dillsboro Fire Chief Jason Sullivan says a quick response by firefighters has prevented the fire from reaching another home that is just a few feet away.
"If we would've arrived a few more minutes later, we would have had a second trailer that would have suffered fire damage," Sullivan told The 812.
He added that the second home did have some damage to the deck.
A neighbor tells us that the house that is on fire has been vacant for several months.
Dillsboro is being assisted by Aurora Fire & EMS and there have been no reports any injuries.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office has been contacted as the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
