Former Aurora lifeguard competing in IHSAA State Swimming Finals

Qualified for state as a diver

(INDIANAPOLIS) — A former lifeguard is competing at the IHSAA State Swimming Finals this weekend. 

Carson Cheek is competing in the diving competition at the IU Natatorium on Saturday. 

Cheek has worked as a lifeguard at the Aurora Aquatic Center. 

The senior also played and was recently crowned as Homecoming King on February 15. 

He is the son of Kristie and Jason Cheek. 

Aurora Main Street is wishing Cheek the best of luck during the competition.
