(ST. MARY’S, Ind.) – Friends and family are remembering a well-known man from the St. Mary’s area who has passed away.
Steve Kopp was a lifelong motorcyclist and avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing while having a larger-than-life personality.
He owned and operated Kopp Cycles in Batesville before he retired.
He also earned the rank of Corporal while serving in the Marine Corps from 1973 to 1975.
“He was admired by those who knew him for his steadfast adherence to his convictions and values, and the respect and fellowship he offered to all that he met,” his family said.
The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at St. Mary’s of the Rock Church in Batesville. Funeral services will be held following the visitation.
