(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – Nobody was hurt and there was no significant damage after firefighters rushed to Franklin County High School on Thursday night.
Multiple departments responded after receiving a report of a loud noise and smoke coming from the building.
Franklin County High School maintenance workers jumped into action while Brookville, Blooming Grove and Cedar Grove fire departments all responded.
It was determined that the cause of the smoke was from an electrical outlet in the office.
“The fire department also checked throughout the rest of the building and deemed that we are safe for school tomorrow,” said Franklin County Superintendent Dustin Gehring.
School will be in-session as normal on Friday.
