Fried chicken fast food restaurant opens in Batesville

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A fast food restaurant specializing in fried chicken has opened in Batesville. 

Church’s Texas Chicken (formally Church’s Chicken) opened Tuesday and is located at the former site of KFC/ Taco Bell. 

The Atlanta-based restaurant chain was founded in 1952 and has over 1,500 locations worldwide. 

A sign outside of the building states that the restaurant is currently hiring.
