Fundraiser for Connersville man battling cancer

(CONNERSVILLE, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been launched for a Connersville man who is fighting cancer. 

34-year-old Christian Fields was diagnosed with colorectal cancer back in May. 

His wife, Brandy, says the diagnosis has involved three biopsies. She added that radiation or surgery may be in the near future. 

A Go Fund Me has been launched by family members who fear this medical journey could last for quite some time. 

“He’d be the last one to ask for help and I barely got him to agree to do this Go Fund Me,” a family member said. 

The fundraiser will go toward medical bills, gas, food and other expenses.
