Fundraiser for man killed in Switzerland County

(PATRIOT, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been launched for a man who was killed in Switzerland County over the weekend. 

48-year-old Jeremy Wilson was the victim of a shooting that still remains under investigation. 

He was a Brookville native who worked several jobs including at CGB in Aurora.

“Jeremy’s passing at just 48 years old was sudden and heartbreaking. Without life insurance, his family is facing the difficult challenge of covering the costs for his cremation and a celebration of life to honor his memory,” fundraiser organizers said.

“Donations will go directly toward cremation expenses, the celebration of life, and supporting his youngest son,” they added.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brookville Road Baptist Church in Bath at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29.
