Fundraiser: Grandma, grandchild both battling cancer

The grandmother serves as the primary caregiver for grandchild

(MOORES HILL, Ind.) – A Dearborn County family is needing donations as they face two cancer battles simultaneously. 

36-year-old Chastity Elizabeth-Ann Denison was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer in January 2024. 

Family members say the cancer has spread and she is too weak for any more surgeries. 

“The doctors have said there is nothing more they can do. She has been sent home to be comfortable with hospice care assistance and support from her loving family,” Nina Litchfield said.

Chastity’s primary caregiver is her elderly grandmother who is fighting lung cancer as well. 

“The love and dedication these two have for each other is unmatched,” Litchfield said. 

Litchfield said that all donations will be used to give Chastity a proper sendoff when that time comes. 

Chastity is a 2007 Lawrenceburg graduate and family members say those who have met her will recall her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.
