(BRIGHT, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been launched as a Bright family navigates a difficult medical process.
62-year-old Gordon “Shorty” Grubbs has suffered multiple strokes and recently underwent brain surgery.
“He is still in the hospital recovering, and while he continues to show incredible strength and resilience, the road ahead remains long and uncertain,” the family said.
His wife, Tina, has been by his side day and night, which has limited her from being able to work.
The family is facing a financial burden due to the rising medical expenses, travel costs and lost income.
“Every contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward medical bills, living expenses, and the costs of his ongoing care,” organizers said.
