Local travel agency also stepping up to help family

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A t-shirt fundraiser has been launched for a Batesville husband and father who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Ted Dickman was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma earlier this month and is currently undergoing chemotherapy in Minnesota.
He and his wife, Brianna, have three children that are ages 14, 12 and 7.
Dickman is a 2004 Batesville High School graduate and is well-known in the community.
Those who know Ted know that he’s the type that would help anyone in need. Now, it's his family who could use your support.
The t-shirt initiative is to show that Ted isn’t fighting alone while also helping the family with mounting medical bills.

Travel Agency Assisting Family
Megan's Amazing Travels is a travel agency located in Batesville. Owner Megan Fitzsimmons is helping the family by covering hotel costs while Ted gets treatment in Minnesota.
“Each hotel night costs around $130, and with multiple nights needed every three weeks, the expenses add up quickly,” said Fitzsimmons.
To continue providing the hotel stays, community support is needed.
