Fundraiser launched for young Switzerland County father

(VEVAY, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been launched for a Switzerland County man who unexpectedly passed away this past weekend. 

30-year-old Sam Arnwine passed away after a vehicle collision, his family said. 

He was the husband of Kita, and together they have one son with another on the way. 

Arnwine had served in the Army and was deployed overseas at least once. 

Sam is the son of Billie Pierce, who has helped numerous people through her mission known as Billie’s Painting With Purpose. 

“Our hearts are broken by the sudden loss of Sam. He was our son, a brother, a father, a husband, and a friend to so many. His life ended far too soon, and now we are left grieving while also facing the reality of the family he has left behind,” Billie said. 

A fundraiser has been launched to support the young family after the loss of Sam.
