Girl Scouts raise funds for North Dearborn Community Park

(GUILFORD, Ind.) – Two local Girl Scout groups have been raising money for North Dearborn Community Park.

Girl Scout Troop 4350 recently hosted a Gingerbread making event that raised $500 and donated it to the park.

Girl Scout Troop 4094 hosted a Tea Party picnic that generated $350 for the park. 

The groups will host an Easter Egg Hunt at the park from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. 

“They've been collecting and stuffing eggs and will be there that day to hide eggs and volunteer with various activities,” organizers said. 

North Dearborn Community Park is located at 5727 North Dearborn Road and organizers are planning to include playground equipment, including a sensory area, in the near future.
