(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indiana legislature will meet for a special session regarding redistricting on Monday, November 3.
The session will focus on revising the state’s congressional boundaries that were last redrawn in 2021.
Redrawing the maps is a measure that Republicans hope to have completed by the 2026 mid-term elections.
“I am calling a special legislative session to protect Hoosiers from efforts in other states that seek to diminish their voice in Washington and ensure their representation in Congress is fair,” Governor Braun said.
The special session will also address an issue regarding federal and state tax compliance.
