Greensburg's Genevieve Smith signs letter of intent to continue soccer career

Holds numerous career and single-season records

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg senior Genevieve Smith signed her letter of intent to continue her soccer career on Tuesday.


The Pirate standout will take her talents to Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio.


She was joined by her parents, coaches and friends during the signing ceremony.


“Since my freshman year I have known I have wanted to play soccer in college and now I have accomplished that and I am so excited for my future,” Smith told The 812.


Smith left a tremendous mark on the Greensburg soccer program and holds several career and single-season school records.


She has the most career goals, most career points, most career hat tricks, most goals in a season, the top scoring senior of all time, most hat tricks in a season, and most single-season assists. 


Smith earned numerous honors including All-Conference and Academic All-State twice.
