Greensburg senior wins sectional titles in discus, shot put

Ranked second in Indiana for discus throw

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A Greensburg senior is currently ranked second in the state in discus. 

Olivia Grimes had a 45.51M throw during the sectionals on Wednesday to earn the second-place ranking. 

She won the Sectional Championship in both discus and shot put and has advanced to the Regionals at Bloomington North. 

Grimes is nearly undefeated this season with just one second-place finish, which happened during the EIAC conference meet.
