(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg Community High School will induct two graduates into the school’s Alumni Hall of Fame on Saturday, January 17.
The Greensburg High School Alumni Hall of Fame is not limited to achievements, but rather those who had a positive impact on their community or profession after graduation.
Dan Manus is a 1970 graduate who served as a police officer, firefighter, school employee and Greensburg Mayor.
Catherine Lanham Miller graduated from Greensburg in 1934 and worked in the Office of War Information to promote government-sponsored marketing campaigns during WWII.
She later went on to be a writer for numerous national magazines ranging from TV Guide to Good Housekeeping.
Miller also wrote the book “How to Say Yes to Life: A Woman’s Guide to Beating the Blahs” which was recognized as a landmark early feminist work.
The GCHS Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. between the boy’s JV and varsity games.
