(AURORA, Ind.) – A Hidden Valley resident has made a large donation to River View Cemetery in Aurora.
Andy DiPuccio first took a guided tour of the cemetery in 2021. It was a chance to view the 30-acre cemetery that was established in 1869.
DiPuccio saw a need for repairs and updates to the cemetery and through his efforts has awarded River View Cemetery $14,14.
River View Cemetery Board has presently earmarked DiPuccio’s donations for a future Veteran Columbarium in the cemeteries Soldier Field.
The cemetery is nonprofit that does was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, recognizing its status as one of the state’s best examples of the “rural cemetery” movement.
