Hoeing returned to MLB action with 2 strikeouts Monday

(SAN DIEGO) – Batesville native Bryan Hoeing returned to a Major League mound for the first time this year on Monday.

He came in relief for the Padres and had two strikeouts and two groundouts over 1.1 innings.

Hoeing was added to the San Diego bullpen Saturday after a shoulder injury sidelined him.

Hoeing and the Padres will be in Cincinnati this weekend!

Last year, he appeared in 18 games and had a 1.52 ERA with 18 strikeouts for the Padres.
