How to help victims of central Texas flooding

(KERRVILLE, TX.) – There are several ways Southeast Indiana residents can help the victims of the flooding in central Texas.
As of Sunday afternoon, at least 70 people are dead with others missing after heavy rains led to catastrophic flooding on Friday. There are also 11 girls still missing from Camp Mystic in Kerr County.
There are a few verified organizations that you can donate to if you want to help:
The Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country has launched the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Donations go toward vetted organizations who are providing rescue, relief and recovery efforts, as well as flood assistance. You can learn more about this initiative by clicking here.
Texas Search and Recovery (TEXSAR) is a nonprofit that deploys to all areas of Texas at the request of local first responder agencies. You can donate to them here.
