INDOT to host seasonal positions job fair on October 7

(AURORA, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will host four hiring fairs for winter seasonal positions. 

The closest job fair will be at the INDOT Aurora office which is located at 310995 Marsh Road in Aurora. 

The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday October 7. 

Winter seasonal positions take place from November until April with starting pay of $21 per hour for full-time operations and $25 per hour for snowplow-only/on-call positions.

“Job duties include performing general highway maintenance, traffic maintenance, snow and ice removal and other duties related to winter operations. A valid CDL is required to be considered for a seasonal role,” INDOT officials said.

Registration is not required and interviews will be conducted on-site. 

There will also be similar hiring events in Columbus, Bloomington and Falls City on October 7.
