ISP investigating paramotor crash in West Harrison

(WEST HARRISON, Ind.) – Police are sharing more details about the paramotor crash that happened in West Harrison on Wednesday.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Tri-State Soccer Complex along State Street
Indiana State Police Troopers responded to the scene and found a 38-year-old Ohio man with life threatening injuries. Nobody else was hurt.
He had lost control of the aircraft and struck the ground and wires, according to video taken by a witness.
The man was taken to a Cincinnati hospital for treatment of possible life-threatening injuries.
ISP Versailles Post Troopers are currently investigating the incident.
The paramotor crash marks at least the second that has occurred locally in the last month. A Moores Hill teen was hurt in a similar accident in Osgood in May. Read that story by clicking here.
