ISP Versailles Post welcomes three new troopers

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The Indiana State Police is welcoming three new troopers to the Versailles Post.
The three troopers are lateral transfers who previously worked for local police agencies.
Trooper Austin Jefferson is a Lawrenceburg graduate who worked for the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Trooper C.J. Miller is a Madison graduate who has worked for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Madison Police Department
Trooper Logan Gray is a Southwestern (Hanover) graduate who has served as a deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office from 2021 to 2025.
They recently graduated from the Indiana State Police Academy and will have a 14-week field training period before patrolling solo.
