(NASHVILLE, Ind.) – Two kids are safe at home today after getting lost in Brown County.
Authorities say two 11-year-olds got separated from their mother and went missing in the thick woods of Hoosier National Forest last Sunday.
Brown County K-9 Knox was among those who responded and it didn’t take long before the dog pointed first responders in the right direction.
The two missing kids were successfully located a short time later.
Other agencies that responded included the Indiana DNR, Nashville Police, Harrison Township Fire and Southern Brown Volunteer Fire.
