(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Kids Discovery Factory (KDF) held their 13th annual STEAM Camp at Batesville Intermediate School this week.
The four-day camp gave more than 150 kindergartners through sixth graders the opportunity to focus creativity, innovation and hands-on learning.
There were also teachers and student volunteers who assisted throughout the week.
Campers participated in a breakout session that focused on graphic design as well. Students explored visual storytelling and self-expression by creating artwork that was transformed into custom-designed stickers.
KDF Executive Director Emili Uden credited community support for the success of the camp.
“This one-of-a-kind camp experience would not be possible without the incredible support of our community, long-time Title Sponsor Hillenbrand Industries, and our generous Annual Fund donors,” Uden said.
