Was diagnosed with lung cancer

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Lawrenceburg Police Department is mourning the passing of one of their own.
40-year-old Nick Thomas fought a lung cancer battle before passing away on Tuesday.
He served as a reserve officer for LPD and was known for being a familiar and friendly face at local events.
“Nick was known for his big heart, quick wit, and dedication to his community,” his family said.
Thomas was also a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity and had worked as a general manager at Mike’s Car Wash.
He is survived by his wife, Christen, daughter, Ava, and several other family members, extended family members and friends.
The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Union Valley Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg. Funeral services will immediately follow.
