U.S. Rep. Erin Houchin is part of House Rules Committee

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Local congresswoman Erin Houchin is now calling for the Epstein files to be released, while also asking that any victims remain anonymous.
Rep. Houchin is part of the House Rules Committee, a 12-member panel that approved a resolution late Thursday night.
The resolution urges the Department of Justice to release information pertaining to the investigations into Jeffrey Epstein.
If the measure is passed by the House of Representatives, it would direct the United States Attorney General to release documents and communications related to Epstein.
It’s an issue that is personal for Houchin as she used to work directly with victims of abuse as a case manager in child protective services.
“I’ve seen the trauma these children endure,” she said. “I have always supported full transparency when it comes to the Epstein files, and I’m glad to back President Trump in that effort.”

Houchin added, “The resolution introduced provides a clear path forward to work with the Trump Administration to: release the files within 30 days, protect the victims, and deliver the transparency the American people demand.”
The resolution was passed around the same time President Trump posted on Truth Social saying that he ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to release grand jury testimony into Epstein:
