(SEVIERVILLE, TN.) – An Osgood family had an up close encounter with a black bear in Tennessee over the weekend.
Marianne Carf and her family were vacationing in Sevierville when one night they heard scratches coming from outside.
“I got up and walked around the corner and there the bear was in the back of husband's truck,” she said.
The bear jumped out of the truck and went to a garbage cage that was outside the cabin.
“Note to self don't cook steaks on the grill in Tennessee mountains,” Carf laughed.
She added that the bear came around the house at least three times over the weekend.
