(INDIANAPOLIS) – Kayla Roell has finished her Milan wrestling career at the IHSAA State Finals.
Roell became the first female state champion in Milan history when she won the title in 2025.
On Friday, she finished seventh overall in the 125 pound competition.
She was one of three local wrestlers who earned a trip to the IHSAA Girls Wrestling State Tournament.
Switzerland County’s Klaire Redwine advanced to the Semifinal where she lost to the top-ranked wrestler.
Franklin County’s Chloe Bills had a hard fought first match but fell to a wrestler from North Posey.
