Local scholarship for college students pursuing medical doctorate

For students who reside in Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – There is a scholarship opportunity for college students currently pursuing a doctorate in medicine.
The Dr. Leslie M. Baker Memorial Scholarship is available for residents of Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties who are currently in college.
Priority is given to students at Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Baker’s alma mater.
The $1,000 scholarship is through the Dearborn Community Foundation and the deadline to apply is July 31.

The Dr. Leslie M. Baker Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by Dr. Steven Gerke and the family of the late Dr. Baker to help students seeking a doctorate in medicine.
