Local veterans asked to attend burial of veteran who doesn't have family

Will be held on Thursday in Madison

(MADISON, Ind.) – Local veterans are being asked to attend a funeral in Madison on Thursday. 

A veteran that doesn’t have any family will be buried. The identity of the veteran has not been made public as of now.

The Jefferson County Veteran Service Office is hoping local veterans can attend the service. 

It will be held at 11 a.m. at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery which is located at 1415 North Gate Road in Madison.
