Longtime BHS volleyball coach honored on Thursday night

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville Schools recognized a longtime volleyball coach during the boys basketball game on Thursday. 

Kateri Paul has spent more than 20 years coaching including 18 years as head coach. 

A ceremony was held where she was joined by several former volleyball players. 

She is retiring so she can spend more time with her grandchildren and family.

Paul used to be an assistant coach with Diane Dierckman who is returning to the school to serve as the next head coach.
