Madison man killed in semi-car crash in Ripley Co.

(HOLTON, Ind.) – A Madison was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Holton on Sunday.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. on U.S. 50 near South County ROad 600 West. 

Investigators say a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Tyler Dukes was traveling eastbound when it crossed the centerline and collided nearly head-on with a semi. 

Dukes was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. 

The Indiana State Police are investigating the crash.
