Man arrested after alleged Sexual Battery in Decatur County

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A man is behind bars in connection to an incident that occurred in Decatur County this summer. 

The investigation began after a person claimed to have been sexually battered at a property in Decatur County in August. 

The case was presented to the Decatur County Prosecutors Office and it led to a warrant for 32-year-old Brian Vaillancourt. 

The Indiana State Police arrested Vaillancourt at his Columbus home this morning on a charge of Sexual Battery. 

Vaillancourt was transported to the Decatur County Jail.
