Metamora Community Park receives grants to buy picnic tables

(METAMORA, Ind.) – Metamora Community Park is receiving a grant from the Whitewater Valley REMC Community Trust. 

The $1,000 grant will allow the park to purchase six new picnic tables for their shelters, and also repair existing ones. 

“Notably, the tables were constructed by students at Franklin County High School, making this a mutually beneficial initiative,” a park representative said.

It’s one of 15 grants that Whitewater Valley REMC provided to organizations this year.
