(MILAN, Ind.) – A Milan daycare held a fundraiser for the Walters family last week.
33-year-old Jordan and Sierra Walters were tragically killed when a pickup crossed the centerline and struck their vehicle on State Road 350 on June 12.
Their two sons were in the vehicle as the family was driving to a Milan 8U baseball game. Both kids were briefly hospitalized but are now without their parents.
A Kidz Story Daycare held a lemonade stand on Thursday and Friday and raised $1,573 which all went to the Walters family.
The lemonade stand was made possible by the daycare families, Wendy’s and Groovy Gals who each donated supplies.
“Thank you to all the community members that showed up, shared, donated, and dropped off more baked goods!!! None of your love and support went unnoticed,” organizers stated.
A Go Fund Me for the Walters family remains open and you can access it by clicking here.
