Moores Hill gas station helping local family this weekend

Fuel up in Moores Hill this weekend

(MOORES HILL, Ind.) – A Moores Hill gas station is hosting a unique fundraiser for a local family this weekend. 

The home of Francis and Katie Plymate was destroyed by a fire in February. 

The family has three kids who attend Milan Schools and they each made it out alive but lost nearly everything. 

“Not only did I raise my boys here but I was raised in this house. To see it go up and see it gone is the hardest pill to swallow,” Katie told The 812 in February.

Moores Hill Day N’ Nite (also known as Moores Hill Food Mart) will donate 20 cents per gallon to the Plymate family. 

The gas fundraiser takes place between Friday, May 23 and Sunday, May 25. 

The station is located at 13891 U.S. 350 in Moores Hill.
