(NAPOLEON, Ind.) – Napoleon State Bank has awarded $27,500 each to three local organizations.
The funds totaled $82,000 and were donated through the Community Multiplier - Member Match Program.
The first $27,500 grant has been awarded to The Speranza House which is a faith-centered recovery home for women in Greensburg. Funds will be used to provide scholarships, post-program assistance and critical resources to help Speranza graduates overcome housing barriers.
Another $27,500 was awarded to Batesville-based New Horizons Rehabilitation which provides safe and secure housing for those with special needs. New Horizons operates 10 homes across Southeastern Indiana. Funds from this grant will help with essential home repairs within the community living homes where their services are offered.
The third $27,500 grant went to LifeTime Resources in Dillsboro, which promotes housing stability and overall well-being for individuals with disabilities. Funds from this grant will help expand and enhance their efforts of safe housing and supportive services these individuals need to thrive.
“We are proud to support Speranza, New Horizons Rehabilitation, and LifeTime Resources through the FHLBank Indianapolis Community Multiplier – Member Match Program,” said Joe Moorman, President of The Napoleon State Bank. “These organizations are making a tangible difference in our communities, and this funding helps them continue their essential work of providing stability, dignity, and hope to those they serve.”
The Community Multiplier – Member Match program is through Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, which supports affordable housing initiatives.
Community Multiplier offers grants between $25,000 and $125,000 for non-profit organizations headquartered in Indiana who partner with an FHLBank Indianapolis member financial institution on targeted affordable housing initiatives. With a 10% matching funds commitment from the member financial institution, FHLBank Indianapolis is providing grants between $25,000 and $125,000. The program opened March 27, 2025, with a $5 million allocation and is available until October 1, 2025, or until funds are exhausted.
