New York man arrested after police chase in Seymour

(SEYMOUR, Ind.) – A New York man was arrested after police pursuit in Seymour early Saturday morning.
Seymour Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on U.S. 50 around 5:15 a.m.
The vehicle allegedly sped up and led police on a pursuit that entered I-65.
The driver went off the roadway around the 64 mile marker and fled into a nearby wooded area, police said.
Columbus Police and Bartholomew County deputies assisted with the search and eventual arrest. A drone and K-( were both used during the search.
27-year-old Brandon Thomas was arrested on charges including Resisting Law Enforcement and Operating A Vehicle While Suspended.
