(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Current North Decatur students have organized a blood drive in honor an alumni this month.
24-year-old Noah Hughes passed away in November after a battle with leukemia.
“Noah had a deep passion for sports and a special love for his alma mater, North Decatur High School, where he excelled as a track athlete,” his family said.
North Decatur Student Council has organized a blood drive in Noah’s honor on July 25.
They are partnering with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana and it will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Decatur High School Fieldhouse.
“We would be honored to see members of our community come together to give back and save lives through this important initiative,” said North Decatur Student Council President Garrett Schwering.
