NWS: Weak tornado touched down in Greensburg last week

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The National Weather Service has confirmed a small tornado touched down near Greensburg last Thursday.
Officials believe it touched down in the area of West County Road 250 West and West Base Road which is near Lowe's Pellets and Grain.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. which was during the time a Tornado Warning was issued for Bartholomew and Decatur counties.
The tornado was on the ground for less than a mile and registered wind speeds of 85 miles per hour or less.
NWS officials said they didn’t find any damage associated with the tornado.
The photo above was taken by Alyssa Runyon as she was passing Lowe's Pellets and Grain around 7:30 p.m. last Thursday.
