(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – The Town of Oldenburg is accepting applications for a Town Marshal.
The application process comes as Bill Dramann nears the end of his law enforcement career that began back in 1969.
He will retire from the Oldenburg Police Department at the end of this year.
Town officials say the ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining peace, enforcing local ordinances, and collaborating with county and state law enforcement when needed.
“You’ll serve as a visible and approachable presence in the community, helping ensure Oldenburg remains a safe and respectful place to live, work, and visit,” the town said.
Prior law enforcement experience is preferred and the job will be part-time with flexible hours.
Applicants can apply by emailing a resume and cover letter to clerk47036@etczone.com and the due date is November 28.
