(GREENDALE, Ind.) – The longtime organist at a Greendale church had a milestone performance this week!
Judy Hall played her 70th consecutive Christmas Eve service at Emanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday evening.
She began playing the organ back in 1955 while she was just a 15-year-old sophomore in high school.
Over the last seventy years, Judy has played for numerous weddings, funerals, and other events throughout the community.
Judy is an active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church - Greendale, where she still plays the organ every Sunday at the morning worship service.
“Judy is a great asset to Emanuel and plans to continue playing for many years to come,” a community member said.
The information and photo was made possible by her grandson, Ethan Hall.
