(OSGOOD, Ind.) – A beloved Osgood resident will be remembered during Bricktoberfest on Saturday, September 20.
Jerry Vollmer had a tremendous impact on the festival as well as the entire community.
He was 18-years-old when he began his insurance career that would one day lead to him creating Voldico Insurance.
The 1977 Jac-Cen-Del graduate was an integral part of the Osgood community, and was involved in numerous school functions as well as organizations including the Jaycees, Osgood Lions Club, Osgood Beautification Committee and the Osgood Fire Department.
He passed away at the age of 66 earlier this summer.
The Bricktoberfest Car Show will be in honor of Vollmer this year.

There is no registration fee and it is open to all vehicles, including customs, classics, motorcycles, jeeps, tractors and more.
It will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 20.
You can register in advance by emailing Bricktoberfest@osgoodindiana.org.
Organizers of the car show are hoping to get more door prizes to give away for the car show. If your business is interested in supporting, send an email to the address above.
Following the car show, be sure to stick around for plenty of music, food and other activities at the 10th Bricktoberfest!
