(COLUMBUS, Ind.) – Our Hospice is being recognized for their family and caregiver satisfaction rates.

The Columbus-based nonprofit earned the 2025 Hospice CAHPS Honors Award which was presented by MatrixCare.

The Hospice CAHPS Honors program celebrates hospices that demonstrate excellence across key patient-experience metrics. For over a decade, this program has set industry standards by spotlighting agencies with consistently high satisfaction and quality of care scores.

“This award reflects our dedicated staff and volunteers, whose empathy and professionalism ensure the highest standard of care for every patient and family we serve,” said Shannon Johnson, RN, Manager of Clinical Compliance & Quality. “It is truly an honor to know that our commitment is recognized through the voices of our families.”

“Our team’s dedication to exceptional care is what allows us to make every moment count for our patients and their loved ones,” added Steph Cain, President of Our Hospice. “This award shows how we are truly Better Together—because of our people, their compassion, and their commitment to Making Every Moment Count.”

Our Hospice has been serving Bartholomew County and surrounding communities since the 1980’s, providing comprehensive end-of-life care, grief support, and resources to patients and their families.
