One of the most unique water towers in Indiana

(MILAN, Ind.) – Milan’s brand new water tower is nearing completion! 

The basketball design is among the most unique water towers you’ll find anywhere in Indiana, and it pays homage to the 1954 Indians.

The construction process was completed in January and the painting portion has been ongoing for the past few months. 

It’s part of a $4M water improvement project as the Town has been making other upgrades, including the replacement of aging water mains, water lines and hydrants.

Town officials say they also plan to add a pocket park and basketball goals in the vicinity of the tower.
