Police: 170 grams of meth found during search of Laurel home

(LAUREL, Ind.) — A man was arrested after police conducted a warrant in Laurel on Thursday.
Franklin County deputies and Laurel Police arrested 70-year-old Jerry Abrams at a home on West Commerce Street.
Deputies claim they saw drugs and paraphernalia which led to a search warrant and discovery of 172 grans of what police believe is methamphetamine.
Abrams was transported to the Franklin County Security Center, where he was held on multiple felony and misdemeanor-level offenses related to drug activity and paraphernalia.
The investigation remains ongoing.
